Vítězslav Krejčí - photographer
Bio
Born in 1972 in Písek, Vítězslav moved to Brno with his parents a year later where he continues to live until today. From the age of thirteen, he often spent time among tramps in nature, where he learned to play the guitar and took up photography. The first spring after the Velvet Revolution, he graduated from Secondary Polygraphic Vocational School, however, he soon left his profession as a typographer at a printing works and made his living by working, for example, as an auxiliary worker on construction sites, a waiter, or a night-shift newspaper deliveryman. After 2000, via a circuitous route, he returned to his original profession which had, in the meantime, ceased to exist in its original form – paper and lead had been replaced with computers. In the long run, he continues to work in the IT field until today, while continuing to do photography in his free time which he considers, with a bit of exaggeration, to be a form of meditation.
Vítězslav is member of I. PhotoPoetic Club Brno
